TAUGHT BY: DORY COTE & TERRY MORGAN, TEACHING ASSOCIATE
REGISTRATION CLOSED: REGISTER FOR 2017-18 HOLLOW BONE.
In this redesigned program we will meet on the magnificent shores of Damariscotta Lake at The Kennedy Learning Center in Nobleboro, Maine for two long residential weekends per year and at the Midcoast Yoga Center (The Barn), in Topsham, Maine for two non-residential weekends per year. These four gatherings per year for two years are filled with extraordinary shamanic teachings and initiations sculpted to take the participants into deep shamanic experiences and spiritual growth that enable the "becoming" necessary to truly "being" the Hollow Bone.
Dory Cote will be your primary teacher and guide throughout this program with occasional teachings and ceremonies led by Terry Morgan. Additionally, we will have guest teachers at some meetings who will be presenting unique materials to enhance your spiritual evolution. You can expect to be learning through shamanic initiations such as what are revealed in Mircea Eliade's work entitled "Shamanism", a classic research text of the ways of the shamans in antiquity. We will perform trance dances, experience shamanic art using a variety of media, and deepen our connection with the spirits of nature by performing numerous activities as well as individual and group ceremonies outdoors.
Exploring the ways of our indigenous ancestors from throughout the world you will have the opportunity to truly become "one" with your helping spirits in ways you have not previously imagined and you will come to know the truth of miracles in our midst here in the modern world.
During this two year program you will have on-going mentoring from Dory Cote via Conference Call exclusively available to participants in this program, as well as audio recordings of significant offerings sent to you via email following each session. An emphasis on individual and group experience is primary to this program.
An Application and a Personal Interview with Dory Cote are required for admission, as well as the prerequisite of prior in depth shamanic work and experience with Dory Cote or other well-trained and reputable shamanic teacher.
All residential weekends are double occupancy with private bath. Private rooms are available at an additional cost. For those traveling from a distance, local low-cost housing is available nearby for the non-residential weekends.
