The following is a calendar of in-person workshop offerings taught by Dory CotE and VISITING shamanic teachers.
This program is a revision and expansion of a prior program entitled "Advanced Shamanic Initiations" which Dory has been teaching since 2012.
This is the 11th One-Year Shamanic Apprenticeship Program taught by Dory Cote with Terry Morgan, Teaching Associate. We made some exciting changes and additions to the program for 2016 and are pleased to offer this amazing program to those called to this work in 2017!
Dory is honored to be teaching this 5-day Soul Retrieval intensive—based on the work of internationally renowned shaman Sandra Ingerman—at 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, California.
This 2-day workshop will focus on vital teaching skills, how to deal with challenging situations, how to market your workshops, as well as the fundamentals and step by step process of how to properly teach a 2-day “Introduction to Shamanic Journeying Course”.
We invite you to spring forward in your spiritual practice by learning the art of the shamanic journey, the ways of our ancestral shamans, and developing direct revelation through strong relationships with your personal spirit helpers and power animals.
Dory is honored to be teaching this 5-day Soul Retrieval intensive—based on the work of internationally renowned shaman Sandra Ingerman—at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Healing.
In this one-year experience you will learn many of the core shamanic healing practices including working with those who are dying or who are deceased, power animal retrievals, Sandra Ingerman's Medicine for the Earth and transfiguration practices, and you will participate in several ceremonies including fire ceremonies, dances and other rituals and initiations. We will have many opportunities to explore shamanic expression through making sacred objects and creating shamanic art. We will work with archetypes, shamanic trance postures, and explore our individual inner selves in deep ways. There is ample opportunity for community building within the Circle and homework with teams to keep the momentum of your practice between classes.
We will meet on the magnificent shores of Damariscotta Lake at The Kennedy Learning Center in Nobleboro, Maine for two long residential weekends per year and at the Midcoast Yoga Center (The Barn), in Topsham, Maine for two non-residential weekends per year. These four gatherings per year for two years are filled with extraordinary shamanic teachings and initiations sculpted to take the participants into deep shamanic experiences and spiritual growth that enable the "becoming" necessary to truly "being" the Hollow Bone.
